Integration and delivery specialist appoints former Intact CEO Bob Dalton as service development director
BIO delivers three core service streams based on consulting & project services, specialist staff augmentation, through its BIO People operation, and management services.
In the new role Dalton (pictured) will be responsible for developing sales of BIO’s consulting & project services business, specialist staff augmentation and management services, with a particular focus on providing integrated service offerings to its customer base that currently includes the Bank of England, Domestic & General, Stan James and Tube Lines.
Dalton previously grew Intact from an initial concept in 2004 to an £18m turnover global operation. Before that he spent two years as UK services director at Damovo, was MD at C-Pro Ltd, and customer service manager at Siemens Network Systems.
“We’re delighted to welcome Bob Dalton to the BIO team, and are confident that his in-depth industry expertise and track record in building successful ICT service businesses will prove invaluable in helping BIO achieve its next stage growth targets,” says Pete Marner, BIO UK Ltd’s MD.
“We believe that current market conditions place an even stronger emphasis on the need for effective integrated services, and that Bob is ideally placed to bring our distinctive services approach to a wider range of customers.”
“There’s a real opportunity to develop the BIO business and take advantage of the company’s acknowledged service skills to help organisations optimise the performance of their evolving ICT infrastructures,” adds Dalton. “We’re already finding that organisations value BIO’s 100 percent vendor-independence, and recognise that our combination of unbiased advice, real-world experience and proven methodologies can unlock real value for their business.”
