Intrinsic Technology hires Insight exec as its first chief technology officer
Cloud computing and unified comms specialist provider Intrinsic Technology has appointed its first chief technology officer.
Steve Browell (pictured) joins Intrinsic from Insight UK where he was vice president, services EMEA. Prior to that, he held executive general manager roles and was also director of EMEA business development at security services company, Vistorm.
Browell’s new responsibilities at will encompass three strands: running Intrinsic’s service centre and meeting its contractual obligations to clients, heading the company’s Professional Services businesses and introducing new technologies to the firm’s portfolio.
Intrinsic has set out plans to hit £100m turnover in the coming years, and the firm says Browell will work alongside Intrinsic’s senior management team in delivering this. His appointment follows a £600,000 investment in the company’s 24/7 managed services division.
Comments Intrinsic CEO, Adam Jarvis: “This is a major role within Intrinsic’s growth and development. We’re committed to working with the latest and greatest technologies as well as maintaining excellent service levels, and it’s important for us to have a dedicated senior manager overseeing this.
“Steve has already become a great asset to the company, helping our sales and business development teams deliver the most appropriate solutions for our customers.”
Adds Browell: “There’s already a fantastic team in place at Intrinsic…We’re all looking forward to taking the company to the next level in terms of service provision and technological capability.”
