Brother UK has appointed Richard Ford as national sales manager as the firm increases its support for midmarket and corporate customers.

Ford (pictured) joins from HP, where he spent 12 years managing the commercial channel, MPS and solutions sales across EMEA as well as pan-European partners such as Office Depot, Lyreco, and Staples.

The exec, who joins the company’s sales and marketing senior management team, will play a central role in building Brother UK’s presence in key vertical markets and bringing new products to the midmarket. He will also manage Brother’s channel team in the UK.

Andy Forsyth, senior general manager sales & marketing for Brother UK, comments: “Richard’s appointment signals our intention to expand our mid-market and corporate business. We will be launching a number of innovative new products, solutions and associated services and support for corporate customers over the coming months and Richard will play a key role in developing our solutions strategy.”
