Brother UK appoints James Lawton-Hill to head of marketing
James Lawton-Hill has been promoted to head of marketing at Brother UK in advance of a series of new products and online support services scheduled for 2013.
After eight years in marketing consultancy advising technology clients including HP, Microsoft, Citrix and Vodafone, Lawton-Hill (pictured) joined Brother UK in 2010 with responsibility for developing key customer accounts and marketing intelligence.
Since then he has implemented a new market development strategy for the company and managed its channel marketing team.
In his new role, Lawton-Hill will lead Brother UK’s 20-strong marketing team and oversee the launch of several new products scheduled to hit the market in 2013.
He will also be responsible for marketing Brother’s new online products such as OmniJoin web conferencing, as the company extends its information and communication services for small businesses.

His knowledge of our sales channels and relationships with key customers gives him insight into how marketing can support the bottom line of our business.
