NetApp appoints Thomas Ehrlich as new VP channels, system integrators and alliances EMEA

Thomas Ehrlich has been named as NetApp’s new vice president of channels, system integrators and alliances EMEA.

Ehrlich (pictured) will be responsible for NetApp’s corporate strategy for its distributors and resellers, system integrators and alliances with technology partners. The firm says his primary responsibility is to grow its partner network across EMEA, to generate new revenue streams and to spearhead the company’s market into new territories.

“It’s a pleasure to have Thomas Ehrlich taking over the new responsibilities. Within his 13 years at NetApp he has been a key contributor to our business success in a variety of positions,” comments Andreas König, senior VP and general manager EMEA. “His appointment marks an important step for NetApp in EMEA as we continue to scale the business and solidify our position as innovator in storage.”

Ehrlich joined NetApp back in 1999 and most recently was running its EMEA Field Operations group, where he built expertise around programmes and processes. Thomas Ehrlich is based in Munich and will reports directly to König.
