Intermec names Martyn Broadhead UK & Ireland country manager

Intermec has announced Martyn Broadhead as its new country manager for the UK and Ireland.  Broadhead will lead the UK sales, service and support teams, and is tasked with growing market share through enterprise sales as well as accelerating channel development.
 
“Martyn has accomplished excellent results in our marketplace, both in direct and channel sales,” says Ian Snadden, Intermec vice president of EMEA. “I’m confident his leadership experience and the strong general management skills he brings to the team will result in great success as he works to grow our already strong market position and further enhance our relationships with both customers and partners across the UK & Ireland.”

Broadhead has held various senior management positions including managing director at Blackroc Distribution, UK sales manager at Datalogic UK, and more recently sales & marketing director and MD roles within the Solarsoft Group.

In February, the firm announced its plans to grow into a 100 percent channel organisation from the 80 percent of revenue it currently generates through partners.
