ShoreTel launches new initiatives to drive channel growth
Unified Communications (UC) firm ShoreTel has today unveiled two new initiatives aimed at its channel; the Accelerate marketing services programme, which helps partners implement marketing solutions and identify new sales opportunities, and the On Boarding package for new partners, which provides tools to deliver dedicated customer support from the outset.
ShoreTel, which specialises in simple IP phone systems integrated with UC, claims the Accelerate programme supports its partners by reducing the time and cost associated with creating their own campaigns. “The time taken from drafting a marketing brief to delivering a campaign has been very short with the help of Accelerate,” according to Chris Limm, sales director at business partner Solar Communications.
Meanwhile, the On Boarding reseller kits are designed to help partners who have recently joined ShoreTel’s Partner programme learn the new product set and financing options. The kits include implementation and sales training, a demo kit, marketing materials and solution support for initial sales.
“We’re constantly looking for ways to help our partners succeed so we’re making every effort to assist the channel with implementation, marketing and sales support as well as traditional technical support,” says John Howard, MD of EMEA, ShoreTel. “The Accelerate and On Boarding solutions aim to eliminate the complexity traditionally associated with the execution of marketing campaigns as well as with the initial sales training.”
ShoreTel also says it is looking to meet growing channel demand by expanding its Accelerate portfolio to include social media campaigns and event management support.
