Bell micro to deliver convergence technology from 3com

Value-added distributor, Bell Micro, has been awarded distributor status for 3Com’s convergence technologies, VCX and NBX IP telephony solutions.

The agreement will also see Bell Micro offering associated training and support to channel partners on the products as well as making internal resources available to help them close deals.

“The decision to extend our agreement with Bell Micro was not only due to the significant revenues that the company generated for the existing 3Com products in its portfolio, but also as a result of the dedication that the company has shown to the 3Com relationship,” says Rob White, distribution and DMR sales manager at 3Com. “Bell Micro has invested valuable time and resources into securing the accreditations necessary to support the VCX and NBX product ranges from both a sales and a technical perspective and we’re confident that they will continue to become an increasingly valuable business partner going forward.”

Bell Micro will also make a set of sales and marketing collaterals available to its partners, in the near future, via its campaignWORKS portal.
