Microsoft selects UK launch partner for hosted UC programme

Following yesterday’s announcement that it was re-branding its business, Outsourcery (formerly Genesis Communications) has revealed it has been chosen by Microsoft as the sole UK launch partner for its new Microsoft Communications Services partner programme offering unified communications (UC) with voice access and call management.

The Microsoft Gold Partner will be the first UK provider to offer full UC to have access to the new initiative, which will help its resellers market Microsoft’s hosted UC packages to SMEs.

Mark Seemann, product strategy & development director, Outsourcery, comments: “The market for hosted UC in the SME community is a significant growth area at the moment, but one of the biggest hurdles that resellers have to overcome is a lack of understanding in their customer base of the benefits these products can provide.”

Seemann maintains the firm’s goal is to become the market leader in outsourced IT and unified communications for Microsoft hosted solutions in Europe.
