i365 names new channel head
Seagate (NASDAQ:STX) company i365 has announced the appointment of Andy Brewerton as the company’s country manager for the UK and Ireland. He will be responsible for all UK operations and channel sales in the region.
Sold through VARs, i365’s EVault data protection range powers the products and services of more than 32,000 managed service providers, datacentres, telcos, ISVs, and other technology partners worldwide. Products include EVault for DPM and EVault Endpoint Protection as well as its MSP programme, Cloud-Connected Service Provider (CCSP). Brewerton will work with i365’s marketing team to grow the company’s business through the EVault Partner Programme.
Says Johan Pellicaan, i365’s managing director for EMEA: “For the past year the European team has put the pieces in place around successful EVault and CCSP programmes. Now established, we needed the right person to fine-tune and manage the programmes for the UK and Irish markets. Andy’s background was a perfect fit to achieve this and other, longer term goals. We are very excited to have him join the European management team. ”
Most recently, Brewerton served as senior director of business development for EMEA & APAC at CA Technologies (ARCserve) where he was responsible for strategic planning and the creation of new programmes for MSPs, and cloud service providers.
