NetApp shave heads to raise more than £15,000 for children’s cancer charity

Twenty six brave employees from NetApp have ‘taken it all off’ in the name of charity. The team completed a sponsored head shave in support of two cancer charities – The St. Baldrick’s Foundation and CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people.

Dave Allen, MD at NetApp UK and Ireland says, “As a global company we’ve worked with St. Baldrick’s for a number of years, but this is the first time the NetApp UK team has risen to the challenge to contribute to children and families in need.  We are proud to have participated in the event and of what we have achieved as a team. We won’t hesitate to participate next year.”

The event has raised more than £15,000 to date, which will be used to fund CLIC Sargent’s services across the UK.

The NetApp UK team has risen to the challenge to contribute to children and families in need and pledged to participate on a larger scale in 2012.
