Overland tasks Gosden with growing channel sales

Gosden will be responsible for growing channel sales of Overland’s tape-based data management and data protection solutions.
 
Gosden previously held the position of channel manager Northern Europe for disk and backup solutions at Overland (OVRL). He also has more than 20 years’ sales and account management experience working for some of the world’s leading technology brands, including Intel and Seagate.
 
Commenting on the appointment Andy Walsky, vice president EMEA sales and marketing at Overland says: “Kevin’s appointment reflects Overland’s deep commitment to its channel partners.  His extensive channel sales experience, at both technical and management levels, will prove hugely valuable as we take the Overland brand, and our channel partners, to the next level.”
 
Overland Storage recently expanded its partner programme as part of an effort to reassure its resellers of its commitment to the channel, following a tough period for the company, which saw financial losses and redundancies.
