Acronis targets system builders with EntaTech

Disaster recovery and data protection specialist Acronis has announced a distribution deal with EntaTech that will allow the vendor to tap into the system builder market in the UK for the first time.
EntaTech will provide Acronis’ new corporate product line announced earlier this month, Backup & Recovery 11. The products provide integrated disaster recovery and data protection across physical, virtual and cloud environments for SMEs and departments within the enterprise.
“EntaTech slots perfectly within our existing distribution portfolio, while allowing us to break into a new market,” explains David Blackman, general manager Northern Europe and Middle East at Acronis. “To sell to system builders is the next logical step in our business development strategy and EntaTech was the obvious choice to help us achieve this goal.”
The distributor will also sell Acronis’ full consumer range, including an exclusive licence of the vendor’s flagship product Acronis True Image Home, which will be sold bundled with Microsoft Windows 7 OEM.
