Acronis partners with Bell Micro
Backup and recovery software vendor Acronis has partnered with value-added storage and security distributor, Bell Micro, which will offer Acronis’ recently launched portfolio of disaster recovery (DR) products.
The move, says Acronis, will allow it to target a more extensive range of resellers, enabling it to broaden its reach in the core SMB market which it targets.
“Acronis is a rapidly growing company with an excellent product set which specifically caters for the SMB and mid-market companies. It is one of the first vendors to provide a truly affordable deduplication solution, bringing a technology which has traditionally been reserved for large enterprises into the reach of smaller organisations,” says Mark Johnson, European Software Business Unit manager at Bell Micro.
“Bell Micro is a well established, successful distributor with a broad reach into the channel and we are delighted to partner with them,” adds David Blackman, general manager for Northern Europe at Acronis.
