Ex-Novell exec to lead Progress Software in EMEA

Ex-Novell channel head Dan Veitkus is taking the reigns as VP and general manager for EMEA at Progress Software, (NASDAQ: PRGS), a vendor of application infrastructure software.

Veitkus will be responsible for managing the firm’s sales, professional services and support organisation across the region.

Explains Chris Larsen, executive VP of global field operations at Progress Software: “Progress has established a large base of customers and partners in Europe for more than 25 years and is represented in the major countries across the region. With the addition of Dan, Progress is well-positioned for increased market share as an enterprise software partner of choice, enabling our customers to be more operationally responsive.”
