RES Software expands team to support demand for desktop transformation
Workspace management specialist RES Software says it is expanding its channel and sales team in the UK to help partners exploit new market opportunities around desktop transformation projects, such as those involving Windows 7 or desktop virtualisation.
The company has appointed Daniel Mee as UK channel manager to spearhead the development of its channel network in the region.
RES Software has also appointed two new large enterprise account managers. Lachlan Coombe and Jason Newell both have extensive experience within the virtualisation industry; Coombe has previously worked for Veeam and VMware, while Newell has worked for PC-WARE and SCH. RES Software sells completely indirectly, and the firm says Coombe and Newell will use their direct end-user touch and engagement skills to expand opportunities, with all deals concluded in conjunction with a channel partner.
Says Ronnie Khan, UK Country manager at RES Software: “The renewed focus on desktop transformation within enterprises is driving demand for user workspace management solutions. This represents a big opportunity for our channel partners, as companies look to migrate from their existing desktops over to new, dynamic environments. RES Software’s user workspace management solutions can help resellers ensure their projects run to time and budget plans so that they can provide more value to their customers and differentiate their service abilities. Our expansion will further strengthen our support capabilities and we are delighted that Daniel, Lachlan and Jason have joined the RES Software team.”
RES Software is also moving its UK office this week from Camberley, Surrey, to a larger office in Chineham, Basingstoke.
