Dedicated and reseller web hosting firm Fasthosts Internet appoints Andy Burton to CEO.

Fasthosts Internet says Andy Burton has been appointed as its new CEO, taking charge of the firm’s direct sale, reseller web hosting, dedicated and managed server operations.

Fasthosts provides shared and dedicated web hosting and business-class email solutions, as well as reseller web hosting.
 
Previously, Burton was CEO of Centennial Software, a provider of IT asset discovery, licence management and endpoint security solutions.  Prior positions included COO of content management vendor, Clearswift, and CEO positions of subsidiaries of both Baltimore Technologies and Chubb Security.
 
Burton is also currently chairman of the Software Industry Research Board (SIRB) and a Board Director of the Federation Against Software Theft (FAST).
