Magic Software Enterprises (UK) (NASDAQ: MGIC), provider of application platforms and business and process integration solutions, has launched a recruitment drive for ISVs.
Magic Software is looking to recruit 20 new ISVs by the end of 2010 throughout the UK. ISVs will be able to offer mobile solutions in SAP, Salesforce.com, JD Edwards, Microsoft SharePoint, Lotus Notes and MS-Dynamics echo systems. The Magic Software ‘mobile initiative’ will provide training, technical and marketing support.

ISV opportunity
“Enterprise mobile applications provide an enormous opportunity for the channel,” explains David Akka, managing director, UK, Eire, Nordics; Magic Software UK. “Driven by the growth in smart phones and ubiquitous consumer mobile applications, enterprises are increasingly seeing the value of business-critical mobile apps for remote working and as an opportunity to reduce costs.”
The vendor says its uniPaaS application platform and iBOLT integration suite enable ISVs to create rich mobile enterprise applications that are fully integrated with back-office systems. Both uniPaaS and iBOLT use pre-configured and pre-compiled business logic rather than hard-code, minimising the technical coding process and enabling developers to focus on optimising business and process functionality, maintains the firm.
Some of Magic Software’s ISVs in the UK include Safe Computing, Topaz, FactoryMaster and Corero. Channel partners are entitled to receive Magic Software’s Total Customer Care Programme, providing training, strategic guidelines and marketing support.
