Costco to stock Kaspersky Internet Security 2010
Costco has been named as the first UK wholesaler to stock Kaspersky Internet Security 2010.
Costco operates the chain of cash & carry membership warehouses that sell to businesses and individuals. Explains Alison Owen, buyer at Costco: “The self employed, small businesses and family homes of today will often have two or three Internet-enabled PCs or laptops that connect to a wireless network. Without up-to-date protection each of these devices are at risk from the threat of cybercrime. By stocking the three-desktop version of Kaspersky Internet Security we are able to provide our customers, their families and businesses with the comprehensive protection and reassurance they need to stay safe from the threat of cybercrime.”
Launched in July 2009, Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 is a software suite incorporating personal firewall, antivirus and anti-spam filter technology. Consumer sales director at Kaspersky Lab, Simon Geach comments: “We are continuing to increase the size of our considerable footprint in the UK market and we are delighted to have our products on the shelves of all 21 of Costco’s warehouses throughout the UK. As suppliers to both small business and consumers, our 3-desktop version of Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 is the ideal security software product for Costco to offer its members, to ensure all of their devices are fully protected.”
