Nebulas Solutions has recruited Richard Parker as its new sales

Nebulas drives expansion plans with sales and technical hires

VAR Nebulas Solutions has recruited Richard Parker as its new sales manager. He will be responsible for all Nebulas’ sales activities and will manage the company’s direct sales team. In addition to managing the day-to-day sales activities, he will be responsible for developing new business across the firm’s portfolio. 

Before joining Nebulas, Parker spent four years at payment management company Cybersource, and was at Dell for three years.

Meanwhile, Nebulas has promoted Tim Kirk to technical manager. In addition to managing the company’s technical team, Kirk’s responsibilities will extend across resourcing, pre and post sales consultancy, developing vendor relationships and defining future product strategy. Before joining Nebulas three years ago, he worked for the BBC and then Virgin TV where he was responsible for the entire VMTV network and security estate.

Nebulas’ managing director, Nick Garlick says both appointments are central to the company’s continued expansion: “We’ve set some ambitious targets and we’re looking to double the business over the next two to three years; around 50 percent of which will come from new business.”
