Qualys appoints Derek James as MD for EMEA North

SaaS IT security risk and compliance management vendor Qualys today announced that Derek James has joined the company as managing director, EMEA North.

The firm says James will be working with customers and partners to expand business in the North EMEA region.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Qualys at an exciting time,” says James. “I look forward to building new relationships and working with partners and customers in this region to make IT security and compliance – normally a complex, expensive and daunting task – accessible for small and large companies.”

Prior to joining Qualys, James has held managerial roles in leading companies such as BT Global Services, Computacenter and Integralis, with a focus on driving business development strategies within the security divisions across global sales channels.
