Marc Botham heads up new Consumer Distribution Group at Symantec

Marc Botham has been appointed director of Consumer Distribution and Sales Operations EMEA at Symantec (SYMC). He’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations and revenue performance across all lines of Symantec’s Consumer distribution business, for both Norton and PC Tools products, a subsidiary of Symantec.
Focused on the objectives of maximising distribution networks and improving relationships with independent resellers, Botham aims to identify and implement efficiencies for partners and introduce ‘streamlined processes’ for partners.
Botham was most recently manager in the value-added-distributor team on the Enterprise side of the Symantec business. “My experience within Symantec gives me a clear overview of the distribution landscape, and allows me to apply efficiencies of resource across EMEA, offering partners improved growth through new programmes, both regionally and centrally,” explains Botham.
“Streamlining our existing business coupled with working towards integration of newly acquired technologies from PC Tools, allows us to leverage new market segments in a variety of geographies, and I am delighted to take on the challenge of leading the Consumer distribution team in EMEA to explore these opportunities,” he adds.
