M86 Security's Tim Warner believes bringing the software products together in a single suite makes a compelling

IT security vendor on the hunt for resellers for new product suite

M86 Security is launching a targeted campaign for resellers to take its new SME security bundle to market.
The M86 SMB Security Suite offers web and email security to businesses with up to 500 users. “Data loss prevention (DLP) and content management are growing concerns for these businesses because web and email threats to data are becoming increasingly sophisticated,” says Tim Warner, UK VP sales at M86 Security.
“However, smaller organisations don’t have the same budget for security products as enterprises, so we have designed the SMB Security Suite to provide enterprise-class web and email security solutions.”
Warner says VARs can benefit from the combined functionality of WebMarshal and MailMarshal software in one product: “End users are asking for consolidated email and web security products, rather than point solutions.
“By bringing the software products together in a single SMB Security Suite, it makes this a compelling offering for VARs to offer this to their customers as a standalone web/email service. [It] will help existing channel partners to develop their run rate business by delivering a valued proposition to end-users.”
The firm will be conducting a focused recruitment campaign from April 13, with all of the M86’s UK channel going through distributor Vigil Software.
“We’re looking for resellers across the board, serving enterprises and SMBs… this is an ideal product for resellers that are just beginning to add security to their portfolios,” he adds.
