VMware

Nigel Seddon, managing director, UK and Ireland, Trend Micro, says:“By working with a distributor that we have an existing European relationship with and that has already enjoyed phenomenal success in the UK with helping organisations migrate to a virtualised environment, we are confident that Arrow ECS’ expertise will help Trend Micro realise its growth goals.”
He adds: “Trend Micro is totally committed to its distributors, and this appointment provides access to a new channel and new resellers in the virtualisation space.”
Due dilligence
Says Jon Collins, CEO at analyst Freeform Dynamics: “We know from our research that many organisations are adopting virtualisation without full consideration of the ramifications when it comes to risk management in general, and security in particular; while it is early days for the cloud, the service-based model that it engenders requires a similar level of due diligence.”
