Vigil to distribute Evidian’s identity and access management solutions

Security distributor Vigil has signed a new contract with security vendor Evidian, to build channel sales for IAM Suite, its range of identity and access management solutions.

The move marks the start of a push by the distributor to recruit UK channel partners to sell and support the security vendor’s products.  The initiative will focus particularly on resellers specialising in the health, government and police sectors, where compliance requirements are driving a surge in demand for secure access, authentication and identity management solutions, says the firm.

In tandem with Vigil’s channel launch, Evidian will be rolling out its channel accreditation programme, offering a choice of three levels of engagement in return for benefits such as the supply of qualified sales leads, a deal registration programme, marketing development funds and accreditation to deliver implementation and configuration services.
