Web filtering firm Bloxx launches channel drive to recruit security resellers.

Web content filtering specialist Bloxx has said it wants to recruit more EMEA channel distributors and reseller partners to promote and sell its web filtering appliance range.

“The challenge for many channel partners, is that they are just one of many partners selling a particular web filtering product in their region, so they get very little proactive support from the vendor,” said Greg Hewett, Bloxx EMEA channel manger. “We will be actively supporting the channel, giving partners as much sales, marketing and technical support as to the need to help them quickly grow their sales.”

The vendor says it is looking for between 6-10 distributors across the region, each with about 20 proactive Bloxx resellers.

Bloxx reckons it offers a differentiator for channel partners in a crowded marketplace. Its Tru-View Technology analyses, categorises and blocks web pages in real-time, even if the page have never been seen before. This increases user and network protection, increases user productivity and reduces risk and liability.
