Industry veteran Reddin joins Avnet

Avnet Technology Solutions (NYSE: AVT), has announced the appointment of Grant Reddin to sales director, networking and security, UK. Reddin will work with new and existing value-added reseller partners to expand their networking and security portfolios. He will report to Peter Hannah, business unit director, networking & security and unified communications, Avnet Technology Solutions UK.“Grant Reddin is highly regarded in the distribution, networking and security industries,” says Hannah. “He has proven expertise in developing innovative solutions that solve business issues and create incremental revenue opportunities for partners. Prior to Avnet, he served as the UK distribution manager for Juniper Networks.  He also held sales and management positions with Symantec. “I have worked with Avnet for more than eight years from a supplier perspective and during that time, I have been impressed with the organisation’s culture, market knowledge and ability to sustain continued growth for its partners,” says Reddin. “I plan to capitalise on the investment that Avnet has already made in networking and security, and quickly identify new areas of high growth potential for our partners.”
