Allied Telesis officially welcomes Hoult to sales director role

Networking vendor Allied Telesis has officially announced the appointment of Keith Hoult as regional sales director for Northern Europe including the UK and Nordic regions.

Hoult will oversee Allied Telesis’ commercial strategy, including the planned launch of a new partner programme in early 2010. Hoult also told Channel Pro that the firm aims to take on a third distributor in the New Year, joining existing partners Micro P and Bell Micro.

Tthe vendor will also be looking to recruit partners in the healthcare and education markets.

“Keith’s appointment will help us aggressively drive sales in our key markets,” said Stefano Verginelli, UK managing director at Allied Telesis. “He has extensive senior level experience in this sector which will be invaluable in driving sales as the market starts to recover.”

Hoult has recently held senior European management positions for both Adtran EMEA, as head of carrier networks, and for Actelis Networks working predominantly within the Broadband DSL space.
