Nimans expands data infrastructure division
Distributor Nimans today outlined a new ‘aggressive’ growth strategy for its data infrastructure division.
Its plans include the launch of its own range of cat 5e and cat 6 cabling, cabinets, data modules and power distribution units, labelled Titan.
The Manchester-based firm has hired data infrastructure business manager, Peter Owen, to lead the expansion. He says while Nimans will carry on working with other brands, it will also continue to develop its own brand portfolio. “I think it’s fair to say that data installation is one of Nimans’ best kept secrets but that’s about to change as we’ve got some aggressive plans to capture more market share over the next few years,” he explains.
“Nimans has grown into a key player in the network infrastructure arena, providing a host of high calibre products and services, from patch leads and tools, to cabinets and routers – all backed by industry-leading training and in-house knowledge.”
Owen says stock is available to pick-up direct from Nimans’ on-site Trade Counter as well as by next-day delivery anywhere in the country.
In addition, the distributor has revealed plans to break into the AV component market, unveiling a series of own-brand AV products such as HDMI cabling modules and chrome faceplates.
