Brocade names Computacenter first European systems integrator

Computacenter to deliver IP and SAN solutions to UK enterprise customers

Looking to bolster its presence within the converged datacentre, Brocade (BRCD) has signed up Computacenter (CCC) to deliver its IP and SAN products to its customers in the UK.

“With Computacenter’s brand and market presence, married to Brocade’s class-leading networking products, this strategic partnership is a natural fit and provides us with a unique market opportunity,” says Colin Williams, practice leader for networking at Computacenter in a statment. “As businesses seek to drive cost of out the network, Brocade’s solutions can help our customers converge network resources thereby reducing physical assets and increasing performance.”

Under the terms of the agreement, Computacenter will offer Brocade’s portfolio of networking solutions to customers across the UK.

“Brocade will be able to leverage Computacenter’s extensive enterprise networking product expertise and solution support to help customers build extraordinary networks,” adds Amanda Giddins, EMEA channel sales director at Brocade. “On the back of our recent expansion and investment in Brocade’s channel team, I am excited by this announcement and am looking forward to seeing the partnership flourish.”
