ZyXEL UK puts hospitality sector in spotlight
Networking vendor ZyXEL UK has revealed plans to steer its channel towards the UK’s hospitality and leisure sector.
Following a similar push across Europe, including Germany which saw a 50 percent increase in business coming from the sector, ZyXEL UK is following suit with a programme of support for UK resellers.
Lee Marsden, country manager, ZyXEL UK said “With the rise in people holidaying in the UK and hotels entering one of their biggest construction periods we believe there is a multitude of opportunity for resellers from the hospitality sector. Our solutions and programme give existing hospitality resellers and resellers new to this sector a perfect platform from which to capitalise.”
Combined with a rise in holidays now being taken in the UK, the London 2012 Olympics and the boom in the use of portable mobile devices, the firm maintains that a demand exists for reliable, high-speed internet and wireless access.
ZyXEL UK has announced a number of ‘free to attend’ training sessions designed specifically to bring resellers up to speed with key selling opportunities of the hospitality sector. The programme also includes preferential pricing and marketing collateral for the reseller to use to tap into the market.
