NETGEAR currently has 1,400 partners and says it is looking to increase this to 2,500.
It will also offer education customers a free networking site survey through its partners, and help them fulfill any resulting orders by offering a five percent reduction. In addition, the vendor will  provide a lifetime warranty on its ProSafe products, as well as a five year warranty on all ReadyNAS Business products.

Explains Neill Hammond, UKI VAR channel manager, NETGEAR UK: “NETGEAR plans to further expand its channel presence in the education sector by increasing its VAR-base, enabling it to offer customers a range of products and services that fit within their budgets.”

“With an average of 70 percent of our free networking site surveys converting to sales of NETGEAR products, we can help improve business for both our partners and their customers,” he adds.

A third of NETGEAR’s partners work within the education sector, with the firm recently adding Staffordshire-based Stone Group to its roster.
