VDI firm moves into EMEA with appointment of MD
‘Zero client’ desktop virtualisation (VDI) company Pano Logic has announced its expansion into Europe and the appointment of Chris Hammans as managing director.
Hammans, a VMware and Citrix veteran, says Pano Logic has received significant adoption with its zero client desktop virtualisation solution in education, health, manufacturing and service sectors in EMEA.
“Pano Logic has redefined the delivery and management of desktop computing. This new and innovative approach to VDI has been well received by customers. Those adopting Pano Logic are experiencing notably lower TCO as a result of the Pano zero client approach,” claims Hammans.
“We will expand our channel footprint aggressively in the UK and other markets and continue to help customers radically centralise desktop management.”
The Pano System is an all-in-one desktop virtualisation solution, centralising 100 percent computing power to the virtualised server. There is no processor, no operating system, no memory, no drivers, no software and no moving parts in the Pano Device – resulting in absolutely zero endpoint management, says the firm that also say the lifespan of a Pano Device is more than three times that of a thin client or PC, and it uses less than three percent of a PC’s energy.
