Hosting provider to offer 10 percent recurring revenue for top tier partners

Major Canadian hosting company PEER 1 (PIX.TO) has launched a new partner programme as the firm aims to grow its channel business in the UK.

PEER 1 Hosting will be offering four levels of partnership: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum with top tier partners, who bring annual revenue of more than £30,000, assured a 10 percent per month recurring revenue stream for the life of each client contract.

Although the firm currently generates 85 percent of its business direct, Fabio Banducci, CEO of  PEER 1 Hosting believes this will be closer to 50/50 as its channel expands: “The [potential for] channel conflict is acknowledged; we spend x dollars which generates y number of leads, we are not making them [the partners] spend or incur costs.”

Banducci believes that although the market is highly competitive, its reputation for good infrastructure and customer service delivery will help it establish a UK Business. “Our uniqueness is summed up by our tagline – ‘Ping and People’,” he adds.

PEER 1 makes its new channel announcement to coincide with its first year in the UK which has seen the company add 800 customers in EMEA to its 10,000 global clients. To strengthen its offering, the company will also be adding deal registration, a partner relationship management tool, and online tool kits over the next few months.
