Channel website goes from strength to strength.

Channel Pro is this week celebrating a remarkable 12 months since its launch last March.

Sitting alongside Dennis Publishing stable mates PC Pro and IT Pro, Channel Pro was launched to offer the UK IT channel a different proposition – an online resource to really help all types of technology partners do better business.

We’re delighted to report that we have had fantastic feedback from the channel since our launch, and the site is going from strength to strength. We will continue to add more content and features to the site that the channel will find of genuine value.

Channel impact
Explains Channel Pro publisher, Paul Rayner: “It’s been an amazing first year on Channel Pro. Not only have revenue and traffic both exceeded our most optimistic predictions but we have also created a real impact in the channel.”

He continues: “The site wouldn’t have worked without the hard work of all involved, and in particular Christine, Paul, Phil, Lee, Matt, James and Hiren. 2010 is going to be another year of growth, with exciting plans ahead.

“I’d like to say a big thank you to all of our advertisers over the last 12 months,” adds Paul Franklin, Channel Pro’s advertising manager. “Resellers, vendors and distributors alike have all identified Channel Pro as a fantastic place to push their partner messages.

Strong response
“Through our recently launched newsletter, tailored sponsorships, bookend site skins and home page takeovers, we have been able to generate a really strong response from this niche market of ICT trade professionals. The site continues to grow rapidly and we have enjoyed our biggest ever month to date in terms of revenue. Again, a big thank you to all.”

“I should also second Paul’s thanks to our advertisers, all of whom had to take a leap of faith and support a new site. It’s a testament to the success of the site that most of advertisers have turned into repeat clients, and we look forward to continuing to work with them,” says Paul Rayner.

“As always though we value your opinion, so if there is something we aren’t doing that you’d like us to, or something we can do better, please let us know.  Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter @channel_pro or find us on LinkedIn and Facebook.com/channelpro
