Certero on UK channel recruitment drive
Certero, manufacturer of PC power management and Software Asset Management products, has declared a new two-tier channel recruitment drive in the UK.
Building its channel from scratch, the firm is hoping to emulate its sales growth in the Asia-Pacific region where it recently signed up Ingram Micro, and is actively recruiting both UK distributors and resellers.
It claims that rising energy costs, dwindling budgets and a government mandate requiring companies to reduce their energy consumption, mean increased demand for its PC power management product, PowerStudio.
Commenting on the recruitment drive, John Lunt, Certero’s managing director says: “All of the qualities that are central to Certero’s success will underpin our relationship with the channel. That means fresh thinking, consistency, and the assurance of a partner that will be attentive to the needs of its channel community.”
Setting up its UK business in Warrington, Cheshire, Certero says it will provide channel partners with “healthy margins” as part of its partner programme, it isn’t releasing any numbers publically.
PowerStudio 3.0 features a management console that provides organisations with data taken from an Energy Star database – providing specific PCs energy consumption values. Coupled with a Dynamic Reporting Application – Acquaintia – organisations can ask questions via a parameter-driven interface and displays answers through a personal dashboard.
