Thin client desktop specialist, VXL Instruments, has appointed Ian Cope to head up its new marketing department, based at the company’s European headquarters in Manchester.

With more than 20 years experience in marketing with electronics manufacturer Sharp UK, and recently with global construction equipment manufacturer, JCB, Cope is to spearhead VXL’s worldwide marketing strategy.

“It’s an exciting time for VXL as the company prepares to launch its biggest product portfolio to date and I'm looking forward to developing the corporate strategy as well as working with channel partners across our desktop, integrated and notebook thin client ranges,” says Cope.
