Trustmarque throws light on Nimbus acquisition

VAR Trustmarque Solutions has revealed its latest acquisition – cloud infrastructure and hosted services provider, Nimbus Technology Systems Ltd.

Trustmarque CEO, Scott Haddow, told Channel Pro in March it was adding a cloud firm to its portfolio. In fact, the firm says the transaction is only the first in a planned series of strategic acquisitions.

Nimbus provides consultancy, planning and migration services as well as a range of cloud infrastructure and software-as-a-service solutions for SMEs. The acquisition will expand Trustmarque Enterprise Solutions Group (TESG) services by adding a suite of hosted and managed solutions that sit between on-premise and SaaS, says the organisation.

“We are in the midst of a fundamental shift as more and more enterprises start to use services enabled by cloud technologies,” says Haddow. “The Nimbus acquisition will further strengthen our services offering and is the first step on a journey to become the VAR of choice as organisations look to realise the benefits of cloud technology.”
