iland and Vizioncore team to offer cloud-based DR

iland Internet Solutions has launched a cloud-based disaster recovery solution for the UK.
The service helps organisations to protect their virtual estates by provisioning Virtual LANs on the iland Continuity Cloud, replicating to six datacentres using vReplicator from virtualisation management specialist, Vizioncore.
“We’re excited to begin offering this service in the UK, a country which has wholeheartedly adopted virtualisation technologies. By opening the door to our London hub, we’re also now able to offer a transatlantic service to enterprises with global operations, a real first,” said Dante Orsini, channel director, iland Internet Solutions.
“This joint solution is of particular benefit to resellers as it provides a tried and tested offering to benefit businesses of all sizes. Their move into the cloud may now be made with greater confidence, safe in the knowledge that no disaster can put them out of action for any longer than necessary,” says Roger Baskerville, VP EMEA, Vizioncore. “The new service will also present Vizioncore’s multi-tier channel with a unique opportunity to provide differentiated services to businesses of all sizes and we’re already seeing significant interest in re-packaging the offering.”
Iland is looking to recruit partners in the UK, alongside a significant number of Vizioncore’s partners that are looking to sign up to the new service, says Baskerville.
