Polycom appoints Carter to lead EMEA channel

Video and telepresence firm Polycom (PLCM) has named Keith Carter as vice president for channel partners in EMEA.

Carter will be responsible for developing and implementing the vendor’s channel strategy and partner programme across the EMEA region.

“With Polycom’s indirect go-to-market approach, successful channel partners are essential for the success of our business. We need to be able to operate consistently with our global partners in EMEA, but also locally with our regional channel partners in terms of channel strategy and programmes,” says Mike Swade, president EMEA at Polycom.
                                                                                                                                                                
Before joining Polycom Carter was responsible for the Consultancy Services and Integration Global Business Development business at Orange Business Services. Previously, he headed up the European Alliances division at Dimension Data and Datacraft in Asia.
