Hitachi Software Engineering and Encyclopaedia Britannica boost offering to education VARs through partnership

Hitachi Software Engineering is targeting the education sector with a new deal to offer of a complimentary three-month trial of Encyclopaedia Britannica Online School Edition for every Hitachi interactive whiteboard user.

Created to boost Hitachi’s offering to education VARs and support further expansion into the EMEA education markets, the vendor says its elearning package can help resellers close sales with new and existing customers.

Free, one-to-one training will be provided to VARs by a dedicated team at Encyclopaedia Britannica, who will also be responsible for all content-related enquiries from customers post-installation. The team will also work closely with channel partners on large-scale tenders and provide dedicated conference and exhibition support.
