VIP signs Sanyo

Distributor of computer components and peripherals, VIP Computer Centre (VIP), has signed Sanyo to its portfolio, meaning VIP will stock projectors for the first time, alongside LCD TVs and digital cameras.

Phil Brown, Sanyo product manager at VIP, says: “There are some good margin-making opportunities for resellers to take advantage of, especially while they are not overly distributed.”

Adds Ian Aitken, distribution sales manager at Sanyo:  “In an increasingly tough UK market our competition continues to change the shape of their business, in reaction to this Sanyo’s route to market in the UK must also evolve. We see the new relationship with VIP as a great chance to expand into incremental markets. Not just in projectors but chiefly across our new Industry first range of dual HD cameras and our impressive fully specified LCD TVs.”
