SDG adds Centrix Software to stable
Distributor SDG has struck a deal to add Centrix Software to its IQ-Sys portfolio, which specialises in desktop virtualization, Windows 7 migrations and the development of cloud services.
“Our partnership with SDG brings numerous benefits to our partner network, which has grown by more than 100 percent over the last 12 months,” says Lewis Gee, vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at Centrix (pictured). “With this new distribution partnership our resellers will have access to a depth of knowledge and experience around virtualisation and next generation enterprise technologies to help them develop their customer and market opportunities.”
Centrix WorkSpace’s analytics offering, Centrix WorkSpace iQ, provides analysis and intelligence on end-user computing environments for guiding hardware, software and service development decisions throughout the desktop transformation lifecycle. Elsewhere its unified computing platform, WorkSpace Universal offers service delivery in private cloud and enterprise IT environments, providing user access across virtual, physical, web and SaaS environments along with single point control over application delivery.
Paul Eccleston, managing director, SDG EMEA explains: “SDG has developed a structured and staged approach to enable our partners to design and implement any desktop transformation initiative. The Centrix Software solution will deliver a crucial piece of the desktop transformation journey, helping to accelerate the potential adoption of new technologies such as virtualization and cloud services.”
SDG will provide marketing, sales and presales support as well as training courses and access to its demonstration facilities to existing and new Centrix partners.
Centrix currently has around 35 UK channel partners but is looking to recruit “a number of appropriate new partners” over the next 12 months.
