Avnet Technology Solutions (NYSE:AVT) says its channel partners will now be able to offer subscription-based capacity management and optimisation services to their customers after making available the Lanamark Suite Managed Services Edition for partners in the UK.
Avnet claims it offers partners a single source for building virtual infrastructure solutions, for the procurement of all of the key hardware and software components in those solutions and for continuous capacity management of physical and virtual infrastructure in the enterprise.
“Avnet’s partners already have access to Lanamark Suite, which enables them to shorten their sales cycles and offer more effective IT solutions to clients who are seeking to virtualise their applications, desktops and servers,” explains Mickey Bharat, director of Independent Software, Avnet Technology Solutions EMEA.
“The introduction of the new Lanamark Suite Managed Services Edition will enable them to also generate ongoing services-based revenue by providing continuous, subscription-based capacity management and optimisation services as a value to their customers.”
