ArcSight launches ‘Security Expert in a Box’
ArcSight seeks resellers for its new SIEM product range
Published on Apr 22, 2009
Compliance and security management specialist ArcSight is launching a new family of compliance and security monitoring appliances and is seeking a host of new channel partners to take it to the mid-market.
According to the firm, the new ArcSight Express range of appliances is targeted at organisations with little in-house security expertise, and apparently eliminates the need for in-house security experts to build custom threat detection rules, dashboards and reports as is the norm for customers of other security information and event management (SIEM) products focused on this market segment.
“With ArcSight Express we are we are now also recruiting resellers who are focused on the mid-market,” Fabian Libeau, director of marketing, EMEA for ArcSight told Channel Pro.
“SIEM technology is essential for the protection of critical IT assets in today’s high-risk computing environments. SIEM gives organisations’ comprehensive, real-time security situation monitoring, reporting, analysis and remediation capabilities to alert organisations’ to attacks and misuse. Resellers who implement this solution can play a vital role that enables them to become trusted advisors to the customer,” he adds.
